Job summary

Amazon in Bellevue, WA is seeking a BIE II - FBA Product Analytics to develop business metrics, dashboards, and analytical methods that inform product strategy across teams.

You will partner with data engineers to build data pipelines, apply ML techniques, and present actionable insights to leadership, driving data-driven decisions and measurable impact on the FBA program.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong SQL and data analysis experience.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
  • 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with large datasets.

Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) analytics and data science team partners with product team to optimize inbound supply chain by influencing right tradeoffs among cost, speed, and network capacity utilization.

FBA Analytics team is looking for an individual with excellent analysis and statistical skills, deep knowledge of business intelligence solutions, and the ability to work with product development, and business teams. The successful candidate will have passion for data and analytics, be a self‑starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail. In this critical role, you’ll partner with business leaders to develop analytical methods, KPIs & dashboards, and build AI workflows to empower business with data‑driven strategic decisions. Basic Qualifications
  • Knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts
  • Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
  • Knowledge of advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Tableau or similar BI tools (familiarity with Tableau preferred)
  • Experience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of the performance of the business
  • 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
  • Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in sciences, engineering, finance or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency and productivity, with the ability to craft effective prompts and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs in a professional setting
  • Experience identifying opportunities to integrate AI solutions into products and services to drive business value.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
