DESCRIPTION
  • Identify and/or coordinate the assessment of new business opportunities worldwide (RFIs, RFPs, Tenders, etc.)
  • Work with our executive management team to identify new business opportunities.
  • Oversee all aspects of proposal preparation - from coordination to edition - and develop new content as we create new products and/or features.
    • Read and assess bids and RFPs to determine strategy for response.
    • Develop proposal outlines and requests pricing
    • Manage proposal scheduling and tracking
    • Coordinate the preparation and submission of bids, RFPs, proposals and qualification packages for project opportunities (including pricing, information gathering, formatting, writing, and final production)
  • Provide revisions for previously submitted responses
  • Develop and prepare presentations
  • Other duties may be assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Key Experience:

You will be a key member of our team and work directly with the CEO and the management team.

Must Have:

  • Significant experience managing the proposal preparation process, including the ability to understand and analyze the details of an RFP/tender. Ability to coordinate and edit proposal input from a variety of different resources.
  • Excellent process, time and project management skills and experience of process redesign.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal English language skills.
  • Leadership experience with confidence in dealing with all levels of management and experience of working with engineers.
  • Extensive previous exposure to contracts and an understanding of basic contract language is a plus

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration
  • Proficient in the following software:
    • Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • InDesign and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working on bids for Engineering firms preferred.
  • Possess strong multitasking, organizational, and analytical abilities to define problems, collect data, evaluate facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Able to manage and meet multiple deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from support staff, managers, and clients. Individual must be motivated, capable of working independently, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
