Job summary

Veo is seeking Repair Technicians to maintain and repair our electric bike and scooter fleet in Fayetteville, AR. This hands-on role is ideal for mechanically inclined professionals who enjoy troubleshooting and solving problems.

No electric vehicle experience is required; prior repair of bikes, scooters, cars, motorcycles, or similar equipment is a great fit. This is a 1099 independent contractor position with shifts overnight and weekends at 2650 S School Ave.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance, mechanical repair, or automotive repair.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull electric bikes and scooters weighing up to 80 lbs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive repairs on Veo's electric bikes and scooters, ranging from tightening bolts to replacing motors.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine appropriate repairs.
• Conduct quality checks and routine inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
• Follow established processes to accurately log and track maintenance records.
• Track inventory levels for spare parts on an ongoing basis.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Perform field tasks as needed, including swapping batteries and redistributing vehicles.
• Use hand and power tools to complete repairs and maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Thursday-Saturday: 12:00 AM-6:00 AM
• Thursday-Sunday: 12:00 AM-6:00 AM

Please Note: Candidates must have reliable transportation to commute to and from the warehouse. Candidates must live near the Fayetteville, AR area and be able to reliably commute to the work location.

• Flexibility to work overnight and weekend shifts
• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, automotive, or mechanical environment
