Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise Teacher to educate students in grades 6-12. The ideal candidate will be an active church participant with strong communication skills, dedicated to fostering a caring and supportive classroom environment using LifeWise curriculum.

Responsibilities include completing required training and certification within 30 days, maintaining attendance records, and building relationships with students and volunteers while promoting LifeWise's religious mission

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Maintain accurate attendance and class rosters, health notes, and parent permissions.
• Create organized, age-appropriate classrooms and maintain classroom culture.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director; share updates and photos.
