Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training, vocational education, or certification in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or related technical field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical assembly or similar role in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and SOPs.
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical equipment, machinery, and components according to drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals to ensure accurate assembly and proper fitment of parts.
• Perform inspections and quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure quality and safety.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly machinery safely and effectively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues during assembly activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve assembly processes and product quality.
• Document assembly activities, including labor time, materials used, and issues encountered.
• Follow company safety procedures and participate in safety training.
