Job summary

TechDigital Group is seeking a Power BI & Spotfire Support Specialist to ensure the stability of BI dashboards for pharmaceutical clients. You will manage incidents, monitor performance with Dynatrace/BigPanda, and troubleshoot report issues while coordinating with data teams and cloud infra.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in BI support, with ITIL and ServiceNow experience preferred. Expect on-site work in Rahway, NJ with opportunities for automation and user training.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Data Science or related field.
2+ years of BI application support or IT operations.
ITIL knowledge and ServiceNow experience.
Familiarity with Dynatrace/BigPanda and other monitoring tools.
Experience with JIRA and Confluence for documentation.
Basic shell scripting and cloud knowledge (AWS/Azure).
Foundational Power BI and Spotfire knowledge.

Responsibilities

Provide support for Power BI and Spotfire dashboards and reports, ensuring high availability and accuracy.
Manage incidents, service requests, and changes using ServiceNow, following ITIL best practices.
Monitor BI platform health using Dynatrace and BigPanda, identifying performance issues.
Troubleshoot report refresh failures, data connectivity issues, and visualization errors.
Collaborate with BI developers to lift complex issues and coordinate minor enhancements.
Document known issues, troubleshooting guides, and user guides in Confluence.
Track support tickets in JIRA, ensuring SLA compliance and timely resolution.
Perform routine maintenance tasks and basic automation using shell scripts.
Coordinate with data teams and cloud infrastructure for AWS/Azure-related issues.
Provide user support and training on basic BI tool usage.
