This position partners with stakeholders to improve pricing visibility, margin performance, data quality, and self-service analytics, and will play an active role in the transition from Qlik Sense to Power BI.

JOB DUTIES

Responsible for the end-to-end design, development, deployment, and maintenance of Power BI dataflows, semantic models, reports, dashboards, and visualizations in support of department and business-unit needs. Designs, develops, documents, and optimizes scalable data models using Power Query, DAX, and dimensional modeling best practices. Creates robust, intuitive visualizations and self-service reporting experiences that improve business insight and decision-making. Extracts, transforms, validates, and models transactional data from enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications and other source systems for reporting and analytics. Supports the migration of existing Qlik Sense applications and QVD-based data processes to Power BI, including requirements mapping, metric reconciliation, testing, documentation, and user adoption. Identifies the most effective layout and presentation of key performance indicators, trends, exceptions, and business drivers. Partners with IT to establish and maintain Power BI governance and security standards, including workspaces, access controls, row-level security, gateways, refresh schedules, certified content, and sensitive financial data handling. Establishes and applies best practices for data modeling, visualization, documentation, performance optimization, and data quality; investigates and resolves reporting discrepancies. Monitors scheduled refreshes and report performance, troubleshoots issues, and communicates impacts and resolutions to stakeholders. Provides analytical support for routine pricing activities, including price requests, customer and product price reviews, discount analysis, and maintenance of pricing files or tools. Analyzes sales, cost, price, volume, mix, and margin data to identify trends, exceptions, leakage, and opportunities for improved profitability. Develops and maintains pricing dashboards and recurring reports that provide visibility to price realization, margin performance, discounting, customer/product trends, and adherence to pricing guidance. Assists with periodic price updates and commercial planning activities by preparing data, validating calculations, documenting assumptions, and tracking implementation results. Partners with Sales, Finance, Product Management, Operations, and Customer Service to research pricing questions, validate inputs, and provide timely, fact-based recommendations within established guidelines. Supports the development and maintenance of customer, product, market, and pricing segmentation used in analysis and decision support. Performs post-implementation analysis to measure pricing outcomes and highlight variances from expected performance. Maintains clear documentation of pricing methodologies, data definitions, recurring processes, and business rules. Builds strong relationships with cross-functional leaders and users to improve processes, documentation, analytics adoption, and decision quality. Proactively seeks opportunities to expand business knowledge, increase data visibility, automate manual work, and create operational efficiencies. Communicates analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences through written summaries, presentations, and data storytelling. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in information systems, business analytics, data analytics, finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, or a related field. Typically required three (3) to five (5) years of related experience in business intelligence, data analytics, pricing analytics, commercial analytics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
