Job description

Water Extraction Team, LLC dba Property Solutions Team is looking for a Project Manager / Estimator to help manage reconstruction, repair, and property improvement projects from the initial opportunity through completion.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, working with people, and keeping projects moving. You will interact with clients, coworkers, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, architects, and property managers, so professionalism, communication, follow-through, and discretion are critical.

The right candidate does not need to know everything on day one. Experience in reconstruction, restoration, construction, property maintenance, or project management is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who is organized, accountable, motivated, and comfortable managing details.

What You Will Do

In this position, you will help estimate project opportunities, support the sales process when needed, coordinate subcontractor pricing, communicate with clients, and manage assigned jobs through completion.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Reviewing and interpreting plans, scopes of work, repair specifications, and project documentation from engineers, architects, clients, and management.
  • Visiting job sites to gather details, document conditions, and compile the information needed to build accurate estimates.
  • Estimating and forecasting project costs, including labor, materials, subcontractor pricing, equipment, and other job-related expenses.
  • Contacting subcontractors and vendors to obtain pricing for specific trade work when required.
  • Coordinating schedules, tracking deadlines, and keeping clients and internal team members informed.
  • Managing assigned jobs, including work progress, subcontractor coordination, job costs, and overall project completion.
  • Planning ahead to prevent delays, identify potential issues early, and solve problems as they arise.
  • Communicating professionally with clients, subcontractors, coworkers, vendors, and management by phone, email, and in person.
  • Supporting safety requirements, participating in safety meetings, and using proper personal protective equipment when required.
  • Incorporating applicable OSHA requirements, building code considerations, permit needs, and project-specific requirements into estimates and project planning.
  • Maintaining confidentiality regarding client, company, employee, and project information.
  • Working as part of a team and helping create a professional, accountable, and solution-focused work environment.
What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of their work. This person should be able to communicate clearly, manage multiple priorities, and follow through until a job is complete.

A strong candidate will bring:
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Experience in reconstruction, restoration, construction, property maintenance, project coordination, estimating, or a related field, preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills with clients, subcontractors, coworkers, and vendors.
  • The ability to read, understand, and work from scopes, plans, estimates, and project documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A high level of accountability and personal ownership.
  • Good judgment when handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • A professional, friendly, and customer-focused approach.
  • The ability to build relationships and work well with different personality types.
  • A problem‑solving mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Honesty, integrity, and credibility in the workplace.
Requirements
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to pass a background check prior to employment.
  • Must maintain a clean background record throughout employment.
  • Must be able to work professionally with clients, coworkers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Must be willing to follow company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
