We are currently seeking a Bi-lingual Safety Coordinator to work across all shifts at our Reading, PA Facility.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare safety meeting notes, distribute monthly safety topics, and follow up on safety tasks.
  2. Maintain accurate safety and training records.
  3. Track and report OSHA-required data.
  4. Lead safety activities and assist with monthly safety meetings.
  5. Perform regular inspections of grounds, buildings, equipment, and operations.
  6. Identify hazards, ensure regulatory compliance, and recommend corrective actions.
  7. Initiate and lead team safety projects.
  8. Conduct investigations of workplace injuries.
  9. Lead daily safety communications and analysis.
  10. Communicate effectively across levels and functions, managing multiple tasks.
  11. Make data-driven decisions and develop recommendations.
  12. Focus on work activities despite changes or stressful situations.
  13. Take ownership of work with urgency and attention to detail.
  14. Build positive working relationships and embrace diverse perspectives.
  15. Work on all shifts as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience in manufacturing safety environment.
  2. Administrative experience (1-2 years) and knowledge of employment law preferred.
  3. OSHA experience preferred (OSHA 10 or OSHA 30).
  4. Fluent in Spanish.
  5. Positive, proactive attitude.
