Job Description

As a Bi-Lingual Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our client’s employees, implementing safety protocols, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. You will provide training and development programs to educate employees on safety procedures and monitor the effectiveness of safety programs through data analysis and reporting. Work in conjunction with the Safety Manager to develop and implement comprehensive safety programs to minimize workplace hazards and promote a culture of safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of employees, implement safety protocols, and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce injuries and accidents.
  • Maintain all necessary files and documentation related to injuries and accidents.
  • Stay informed of all federal, state, and local compliance regulations.
  • Provide training and development programs to educate employees on safety procedures.
  • Perform forklift certifications.
  • Support the Safety Manager in developing and implementing safety programs.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience in a safety (OSHA) manufacturing environment. Bilingual skills are highly preferred.
  • First Aid/CPR certification is required.
  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
