Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to transform fragmented procurement data into standardized, governed analytical products. The role focuses on sourcing analytics, compliance monitoring, and vendor management reporting, delivering clear insights for decision making.

You will partner with stakeholders to define metrics, build scalable data models, and deliver robust dashboards using SQL, Python, and AWS. The position includes travel and is based in a corporate office.

Qualifications

• Experience building and presenting new metrics to understand business performance.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and ETL pipelines.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Quicksight.
• Experience with SQL and Python for data processing and modeling.
• Experience with AWS services like EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
• Master's degree in sciences, engineering, finance or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver BI solutions (datasets, dashboards, analyses) supporting sourcing, compliance, and vendor management programs.
• Contribute to the development of governed, reusable data products aligned with the GPO Data Hub.
• Partner with stakeholders to define metrics, translate requirements, and drive standardized reporting adoption.
• Build and maintain scalable data models and ETL pipelines using SQL and Python on AWS.
• Ensure data quality and documentation across analytical outputs.
• Develop visualizations that enable clear decision-making for procurement leaders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data definitions and architecture.
• This position is based out of a corporate office and requires ~25% national travel.
