Job summary

Bosun is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer -- SQL & Data Integration in Beaufort County, SC. The role blends data, technology and process improvement to streamline operations.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5 years of experience in database development, ETL or BI.
• Intermediate-to-advanced SQL skills with relational databases.
• Experience developing complex queries and managing data transformations.
• Strong Power BI experience including data modeling, DAX and Power Query.
• Experience with ETL and data integration processes.
• Experience using Python or PowerShell for automation.
• Strong focus on data quality, accuracy and integrity.
• Experience identifying inefficient processes and improving them technically.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Strong organizational and project-management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write and optimize SQL queries, views and stored procedures.
• Build reliable data integrations across systems and automate workflows.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models for insights.
• Use DAX and Power Query to transform data for analysis.
