Job Title: Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

Location: Juno Beach, FL (100% Onsite)

Duration: Full-time position

Job Overview:

We seek a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our agile team. This role will design, develop, and maintain robust reporting solutions that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have advanced experience in Power BI, SQL, DAX, and Power Query, with a strong background in data warehousing, data modeling, and business analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain reporting catalogs and dashboards using Power BI, ensuring content is accurate, actionable, and aligned with business needs.
• Evaluate new reporting requests against existing inventory to optimize content reuse and eliminate redundancy.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, including AWS, Redshift, and enterprise data warehouses, into comprehensive reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with Principal Solution Architects to align data platform architecture with reporting tools for optimal performance and user experience.
• Participate in full SDLC project efforts including system analysis, design, development, integration, enhancement, and ongoing support.
• Optimize and maintain database tables, views, and SQL queries for high performance and scalability.
• Serve as a key contributor to reporting standards and best practices, ensuring security, governance, and quality of information assets.
• Support functional, technical, and user acceptance testing; troubleshoot and resolve issues as needed.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to ensure solutions meet expectations and requirements.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in business intelligence/report development.
• Expertise in Power BI, including dashboard/report design, DAX, Power Query, and dataset optimization.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI administration and security practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft BI Stack, including SSRS, SQL, MDX, and DAX.
• Experience with SQL Server and writing complex, optimized SQL queries.
• Familiarity with AWS and Amazon Redshift data environments.
• Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts, dimensional modeling, and data integration.
• Experience working in agile, project-based environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience integrating Power BI with AWS-based data lakes or Redshift clusters.
• Knowledge of BI monitoring tools such as AppDynamics or Splunk is a plus.
• Ability to mentor junior developers and lead BI-related initiatives.
