Job summary

Liberty Healthcare Management in Wilmington, NC seeks an experienced BI Developer II to advance analytics, dashboards and reporting using Python and Microsoft BI tools. You will partner with business users to capture requirements and deliver insights across the organization.

You will design data solutions, maintain BI systems, and document data dictionaries while collaborating in an agile environment using Jira or Azure DevOps. A CS-related degree and 2+ years BI experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline, required.
• 2+ years’ Business Intelligence Development experience.
• Proficient level knowledge of T-SQL development.
• Proficient level knowledge of BI related development methods and techniques.
• Proficient level knowledge of data structures.
• Proficient level knowledge of database management.
• Proficient level knowledge of customer service techniques.
• Proficient level of knowledge of Git version control.
• Preferred: Knowledge of value-based insurance practices.
• Preferred: Experience working with Third Party Administrators and CMS.

Responsibilities

• Assists in implementing effective business analytics practices that drive improved decision-making, efficiency and performance.
• Communicate with business users to determine requirements for BI reports and solutions; define how to present information.
• Develop dashboards, reports and queries using Python and Microsoft BI stack (Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Factory pipelines, Power Apps, Power Automate, SSAS, SSRS).
• Collaborate with development team to create reports and analytics using data warehousing concepts.
• Create and maintain documentation including requirements, designers, user manuals and data dictionaries.
• Plan and work independently at Task/User Story/Feature level in agile tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
