Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a BI Developer I to design and build robust multi‑platform BI applications, driving data discovery and analytics. You will collaborate with business users and application teams to meet reporting needs, train the team, and translate complex requirements into scalable BI solutions.

You will develop automated ETL processes, create dashboards and reports, and ensure data quality and security across centralized data warehouses.

Qualifications

Associates degree and four years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience demonstrating attainment of required knowledge/abilities to perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

Design and build robust multi-platform BI solutions and reports.
Drive data discovery based on user specifications and business needs.
Collaborate with business users and application teams to meet reporting requirements and align with initiatives.
Train the business analyst team in reporting and data analysis for process improvement.
Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve workflows.
Develop SQL/MDX queries and create dashboards, visualizations, and productivity analytics.
Maintain BI models, data architecture, and technical documentation.
