Job summary

Community Healthcare System in Munster, Indiana, seeks a Business Intelligence Developer to lead reporting development and data extraction for Epic and other systems. You will build, test, and maintain reports using SQL, Crystal Reports, Epic tools, MS Access, and SSIS while partnering with analysts and end users to ensure accurate, timely reporting.

The role requires strong analytical skills, healthcare data knowledge, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable reports.

Qualifications

• Experience with Epic reporting or healthcare reporting environments.
• Experience with SQL, Crystal Reports, MS Access or similar tools.
• Knowledge of healthcare data, reporting workflows, and privacy requirements.
• Epic Cogito certification required or to be completed within six months of placement.
• Ability to translate business requirements into accurate reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances reports and data solutions based on user requirements.
• Uses reporting tools and data sources to retrieve, analyze, validate, and present data accurately.
• Supports and maintains reporting requests, with testing and documentation per standards.
• Responds to help desk tickets and SLAs.
• Collaborates with analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting needs and propose solutions.
• Troubleshoots reporting issues and ensures data accuracy and report reliability.
• Follows change control procedures for production deployment and communicates status to management.
• Participates in software implementations, upgrades, and validation of reporting functionality.
• Maintains technical documentation and reporting specifications, ensuring security compliance.
