Job summary

Tosca Services, LLC is seeking a BI Developer to lead North America BI initiatives, including complex Power BI solutions and metric logic within Snowflake/dbt environments.

You will partner with Data Engineering, define KPI semantics, and mentor BI developers while shaping BI standards across teams. The role is on-site Tue-Thu and remote Mon-Fri, with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of BI development experience or equivalent demonstrated capability.
• Expert‑level Power BI experience.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with warehouse data.
• Deep understanding of dimensional modeling and semantic-model design.
• Hands‑on experience with either warehouse/dimensional design or dbt transformation development.
• Experience delivering BI solutions through the full development lifecycle.
• Strong business judgment and the ability to challenge or refine KPI definitions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

What You’ll Do:

We’re looking for someone with strong technical depth who can also understand the business questions behind the numbers. This person should be comfortable working independently, challenging assumptions, and communicating with both technical teams and business leaders.

Work Schedule

On‑site Tuesday–Thursday; remote Monday and Friday (company-paid parking). Regular in‑office presence is essential for effective team collaboration, engagement, and relationship‑building. Hybrid and remote work schedules typically consist of nine hours per day, five days per week, with a 60‑minute lunch break. Business needs may require occasional work outside standard hours, including on‑site attendance as needed to support team and operational requirements.
