PostcardMania in Clearwater, FL is seeking a senior Lead BI & Data Platform Engineer to own our enterprise reporting, SQL Server data platform, and Power BI analytics environment. You will design, build, and optimize the data stack to deliver accurate, scalable insights for the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SQL Server development, BI, or data platform engineering.
• Expert-level SQL Server design, including indexing, replication, and performance tuning.
• Advanced Power BI expertise: data modeling, DAX, semantic models, and reports.
• Experience building and maintaining enterprise data warehouses.
• Experience developing ETL/ELT processes to integrate data across systems.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the SQL Server data warehouse and reporting infrastructure.
• Architect and manage SQL Server replication for reporting and analytics.
• Own and optimize all Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
• Design and implement scalable relational data models.
• Develop, maintain, and improve ETL/ELT processes across systems.
• Monitor and tune SQL Server performance, indexing, query execution, and health.
• Establish data governance standards and reporting best practices.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Leadership to define analytics needs.
• Translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions.
• Continuously improve accuracy and reliability of reporting systems.
