Job summary
Oorwin AI in Dallas, TX seeks an experienced Business Intelligence and Data Modelling contractor to design scalable data solutions, develop enterprise data models, and implement ETL/ELT pipelines for analytics initiatives.
The role requires 8+ years in BI, Data Warehousing, Data Modelling, and ETL or Data Engineering, with hands-on experience in Databricks and Snowflake, SQL, Spark/PySpark, Delta Lake, and Power BI to deliver robust reporting and data‑driven insights.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in BI, Data Warehousing, Data Modelling, ETL, or Data Engineering.
- Strong hands‑on experience in Databricks and Snowflake.
- Proficient in SQL and database development.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Dimensional Modelling, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Data Warehousing.
- Experience with Apache Spark / PySpark and Delta Lake.
- Strong understanding of modern cloud data platforms and Lakehouse architecture.
- Experience with Power BI or equivalent BI/reporting tools.
- Knowledge of data integration, data quality, governance, and performance optimization.
