Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a BI Business Analyst/Junior Power BI Developer in Altamonte Springs, FL.

• Gather business requirements and translate them into reporting and dashboard solutions
• Write SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources
• Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports
• Connect and integrate data from various systems, including healthcare and Epic-related data sources
• Identify trends, KPIs, operational metrics, and opportunities for process improvement
• Perform data validation and troubleshooting to ensure reporting accuracy
• Partner with business users to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights
• Create ad hoc reports and recurring reporting solutions
• Document reporting processes, calculations, and dashboard logic
• Assist with data modeling and understanding relationships between complex data tables

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 2+ years of experience as a BI Analyst, Business Intelligence Developer, Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role
• Strong Power BI experience and proven ability to develop dashboards independently
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting solutions
• Working knowledge of SQL, including the ability to write queries and join data across multiple tables
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with business stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and own projects from data extraction through dashboard delivery

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
