Job summary

Intone Inc is seeking an experienced BI Application Developer III in Charlotte, NC to design, develop, and support BI reporting solutions for complex data. The 12-month contract role focuses on turning data into actionable insights through reports, dashboards, and data warehouse enhancements.

You will work with MicroStrategy across Architect, Developer, Web, and Mobile components, write optimized SQL, design star-schema warehouses, and build iPad dashboards to enable data-driven decisions for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT/CS/engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in MicroStrategy report/dashboard development.
• 7+ years in SQL queries and data transformations.
• 7+ years in data warehouse design using star schema.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced BI Application Developer III to design, develop, and support business intelligence reporting solutions. This 12-month contract role is based in Charlotte, North Carolina. You will transform complex data into accurate, meaningful insights through reports, dashboards, monitoring tools, and data warehouse solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain BI reporting solutions for business users.
• Create reports and dashboards based on business and technical requirements.
• Build BI solutions using the MicroStrategy Suite, including Architect, Developer, Web, Mobile, Office, Command Manager, System Manager, and Object Manager.
• Write custom SQL queries for report development and data transformation.
• Design and support data warehouses using star schema architecture.
• Develop iPad dashboards for data access, reporting, and performance monitoring.
• Configure monitoring tools and alerts to identify hardware and application issues.
• Support new and existing business initiatives through scalable software applications and reporting solutions.
• Ensure reports provide accurate, reliable, and actionable information.

Qualifications

• Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least seven years of relevant experience with MicroStrategy report and dashboard development.
  • At least seven years of relevant experience with custom SQL queries and data transformations.
  • At least seven years of relevant experience with data warehouse design using star schema architecture.
  • At least seven years of relevant experience with mobile or iPad dashboard development.
• Preferred
  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with at least five years of relevant experience in the areas listed above.
