Job summary

The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst to transform complex data into clear insights, supporting regulatory operations and strategic decision-making. The BI Analyst reports to the Manager, Projects and Data Analytics and will deliver dashboards, datasets and governance across CMTO’s Azure Data Lakehouse.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, data science, computer science, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with at least 3 years in BI or data analytics.
• Expertise in designing, developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models and performance measurement frameworks.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Lakehouse, data pipelines, semantic models and Power BI environments.

Responsibilities

• Collect, extract, integrate and analyze data from multiple sources to identify emerging risks.
• Translate complex analytical findings into meaningful insights and practical recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Design and create dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Power BI for stakeholders.
• Develop data governance standards, data dictionaries and business terminology for consistency.
• Investigate data quality issues and drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Define KPIs and reporting requirements with business leaders.
