Day to Day

As a Business Intelligence Analyst III, you will leverage data to generate insights that inform business decisions and improve performance. You will work with teams across the organization to understand priorities, analyze trends, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.

In this role, you will design and build reporting solutions, support data-driven initiatives, and contribute to the development of scalable analytics practices. You are comfortable working with large datasets, translating complex findings into meaningful insights, and communicating results to both technical and non-technical audiences. This role combines demonstrated analytical and technical expertise with strategic thinking, business partnership, autonomous decision‑making, and the ability to influence outcomes across teams.

The ideal candidate is a self‑directed, hands‑on analytics leader who can take an ambiguous business objective, determine what needs to be understood, identify the right data and approach, and autonomously drive the work from problem definition through analysis, solution design, delivery, and business impact. The role also has a key focus on AI‑enabled analytics and modern development practices. We expect the successful candidate to use AI tools, automation, and emerging technologies as part of their normal workflow and to continually identify opportunities to make BI more efficient, scalable, and impactful.

Responsibilities
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business decision‑making.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Translate business questions into analytical approaches and technical requirements.
  • Apply testing and measurement methodologies, including A/B testing, to evaluate outcomes.
  • Identify and validate data sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability of insights.
  • Present findings and recommendations to a range of audiences.
  • Contribute to improving data processes, tools, and documentation.
Skills/Competencies
  • Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field and a minimum of 6 years of related experience; or a PhD with 3 years experience
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with tactical execution and effectively leverage AI‑assisted development tools, agents, automation, and emerging technologies across coding, SQL, analysis, testing, and research
  • Ability to autonomously navigate ambiguity, set strategy and priorities, and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and compelling narratives for senior leaders and product teams, with a key focus on business and customer impact.
  • Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries across large datasets.
  • Experience using programming languages (e.g., Python) for data analysis and transformation.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Understanding of data warehousing and data pipeline concepts.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to varied audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
