Job summary

Servingschools in Bangor, ME is seeking a compassionate Education Technician III (BHP III) to support classroom teachers and deliver interventions for students with special needs. The role involves 1:1 or 1:2 support, collaboration with the treatment team, and implementing approved curricula in line with individual plans.

• At least 90 college credits.
• Experience is preferred but Watch Me Shine is willing to train the right applicant.
• Candidates must pass an extensive criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the classroom teacher to implement curriculum and interventions.
• Provide one-on-one support with students in a classroom setting.
• Perform duties to support the classroom and teacher as assigned.
• Monitor student progress, programs and assessments, and coordinate with providers, supervisors, therapists, and team members.
• Document daily activities and track student progress.
