Qualifications

Essential Job Functions
  • Maintain property, management office, and landscaping by inspecting each morning and removing trash from grounds.
  • Keep mail rooms clean—pick up trash, sweep floors, remove outdated notices from bulletin boards, etc.
  • Replace lightbulbs in common areas and breezeways as needed.
  • Replace all first-floor window screens upon request.
  • Assist with apartment make-readies—trash vacant units, caulk, check appliances and smoke detectors, replace parts, etc.
  • Clean air conditioning vents and replace filters in vacant apartments.
  • Install, move, and connect appliances.
  • Replace air filters in occupied apartments as scheduled.
  • Maintain pool area—hose down, pick up trash, straighten chairs, etc.
  • Perform light painting duties as directed.
  • Clean vacant apartments between residents.
  • Assist Maintenance Supervisor or Technician as requested.
Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in groundskeeping, caretaking, or janitorial work preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to assist with after-hours maintenance emergencies.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. and climb stairs regularly.

Work Hours: Generally 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, with possible additional hours and weekends to meet business needs.
