The Leasing Consultant will market and lease apartments according to management policies, providing resident services professionally and courteously.

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain excellent customer service by adhering to the BHOM Living Playbook
• Follow BHOM Policies and Procedures
• Greet prospects, show units, and market common areas
• Lease apartments and promote property products and services
• Assist with online applications
• Respond to internet leads, answer calls, and conduct tours following training guidelines
• Optimize occupancy and maximize rent
• Use sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic and achieve occupancy goals
• Maintain knowledge of property and competitors
• Assist with market surveys
• Collect deposits and move-in fees
• Prepare lease paperwork thoroughly
• Maintain accurate leasing data and assist with data entry
• Inspect units regularly and before move-in
• Plan and host resident events
• Audit lease files and assist with bonuses
• Assist residents with move-out and turn processes
• Handle service requests and maintain office and common areas
• Ensure punctuality and report attendance issues
• Perform administrative tasks as needed

Minimum Qualifications/Skills

• Fluent in reading and writing English
• Basic to intermediate math skills
• Computer literacy

Desired Qualifications/Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Work Schedule

Generally 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, with extended hours or weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements/Environment

Light physical demand; ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, grasp, occasionally bend or crouch; lift up to 25 lbs., push/pull up to 50 lbs. with assistance; good vision and focus.

Work environment is a typical office setting with minimal exposure to undesirable elements. May contact chemicals like toner.
