Qualifications

Position Summary: The Assistant General Manager assists the General Manager in managing on-site operations, achieving financial and operational goals, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Collaborate with the team to maximize revenues and control costs, ensuring financial data accuracy.
  • Manage collections and revenue posting, oversee billing processes.
  • Handle resident service requests, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.
  • Ensure operational standards are implemented and monitored.
  • Assist with resident events, showings, and property inspections.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and oversee legal and compliance issues.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions.
  • Train and develop team members, coordinate apartment turnovers, and ensure safety standards are met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:

  • Experience in property management.
  • State leasing license or ability to obtain one.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and computer skills, including social media.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Leadership and motivation skills.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of relevant software.
  • Confidence and perseverance to achieve goals.

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience in student housing.
