Main Purpose of the Job

We are seeking English into Vietnamese translators to join our growing team for a global client in the music streaming industry, which offers entertainment services such as music streaming and podcasts. The selected candidates will take ownership of incoming work and actively contribute to the program's success.

Project Details

• Job Title: English into Bhojpuri Creative UI and Marketing Senior Localization Specialist/Reviewer
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Remote
• Task Type: Translation, Copy Editing
• Estimated Work Volumes: 15 hours/week
• Employment Type: Freelance

Main Duties

• Translate and review content from English into Bhojpuri, ensuring the original meaning is conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to the target audience.
• Content types include Informational, Legal, Marketing, Product, Support.
• Use CAT tools such as Smartling, Jira.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 3 years experience in translating and reviewing content in the specified subject matter.
• Proficiency in marketing, product, legal, and informational translation and terminology tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Some proficiency in Bhojpuri and native fluency in the target language.
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to follow instructions, such as character restrictions.
• Effective communication of transcreation rationale.
• Knowledge of UI, customer support, and creative content like synopses and episodic titles.

Main Tasks

• Linguistic tasks: perform LQA reviews, handle arbitration, update glossaries and TMs, manage client feedback, and provide cultural consultation.
• Quality Management: liaise with teams and clients, monitor language quality, address issues, and suggest improvements.
