Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a human services related field plus one year of full-time equivalent human service experience (twenty hours of child mental health training may substitute for experience).
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a human services related field plus one year of full-time equivalent child mental health services experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's in non-human services field plus two years of full-time equivalent child mental health services experience (preferred).
• Acceptable degrees include Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Human Services or Development.

Responsibilities

• Provide skill-based interventions to address behavioral needs of Iowa children and parents with mental illness diagnoses.
• Perform ongoing assessments for families and adjust implementation plans based on individual circumstances.
• Evaluate progress of children and families and document outcomes.
