State of Missouri is seeking a Stores Warehouse Assistant located at Bellefontaine Habilitation Center, Saint Louis, MO. The role involves sorting, assembling, labeling, and delivering food from the Food Distribution Center, while assisting with inventory and diet census reports.
The position requires a high school diploma, exemplary customer service, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. A valid drivericense is required; previous food distribution experience is preferred.
This position will be located at Bellefontaine Habilitation Center in the Food Distribution Center (FDC), 10695 Bellefontaine Rd., Saint Louis, MO 63137. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with Saturday/Sunday off. This position requires working on holidays.

A Stores Warehouse Assistant works in Food Distribution Center sorting, assembling, portioning, labeling, storing and delivering food in correct amounts to homes and program areas on our campus based on our daily menu. Assistance is provided to the Storekeeper to maintain inventory; and to the Dietitian to maintain the diet census report, menus and to prepare labels. Duties also include cleaning refrigerators, freezers, shelving, countertops; sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes. This position requires the ability to lift and transfer 50 lbs., stand and work continuous hours, and work outdoors delivering food in all types of weather.
Possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
Exemplary customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Ability to lift, carry and move items.
Previous food distribution experience is preferred.
Possession of a valid driver’s license.
