Job Description

BH Link Peer Recovery Specialist (Full Time)

Location: East Providence, RI

The BH Link is a 24/7 behavioral health crisis and triage center partnering Community Care Alliance and Horizon Health Partners. We are hiring a Peer Specialist to provide support to clients of the BH Link, Crisis Center, including phone support and accompanying clients to post-crisis appointments when appropriate. Good communication skills are essential.

The program offers immediate assessment and referral services, staffed by a multidisciplinary team including RN's, psychiatrists, counselors, case managers, peer specialists, and phone screeners. It also operates a 24/7 suicide hotline and a mobile crisis unit for community visits.

Preferred candidates will have completed and passed a BHDDH-endorsed Co-occurring Peer Specialist training and hold (or be eligible for) IC/RC certification (CPRS). Active pursuit of certification is also acceptable.
