Job Description

The Boys & Girls Club Youth Development Assistant will assist in planning, directing, and implementing educational and recreational activities for program members.

1. Assist Club staff with facilitating programs/activities that are educational, physical, mental/emotional, and social (e.g., homework help, arts & crafts).
2. Help maintain proper care, upkeep, and operation of equipment used in service and program areas.
3. Supervise small groups of Club members.

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled student registered for classes.
• Meet all Work Study eligibility requirements through the Financial Aid Office.
• Provide own transportation to the Boys & Girls Club location.
• Enjoy working with youth.
• Able to motivate, encourage, and teach youth.
• Work well with diverse populations.
