Job summary

Jabil is seeking a production‑floor worker to remove, replace and reflow BGA components as part of manufacturing operations. You will support line repairs, visually inspect x-ray results for shorts or poor solder, and ensure quality by following Jabil workmanship standards.

Daily logs, proper labeling, and safety compliance are required. Experience with standard repair techniques, maintaining organized work areas, and adhering to security policies will help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos and short correspondence.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Read and understand visual aids used in manufacturing.
• Calculate quantities of parts to prep and have ready.
• Perform basic arithmetic including two-digit operations.
• Follow simple one- or two-step instructions with common sense.
• Deal with standardized situations with few variables.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing in removal, replacement, and reflow of BGA components.
• Visually analyze x-ray to identify shorts or insufficient solder.
• Ensure quality and improve efficiency using the CIQ system.
• Fill out daily logs and related paperwork.
• Ensure assemblies are handled and marked properly.
• Follow Jabil repair techniques and maintain a clean work area.
• Adhere to safety and health rules and company security procedures.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
