Aspire Explorations, a program of Mass General Brigham, serves teens and young adults with social cognition challenges, including Asperger's Syndrome, High-Cognitive Autism, Nonverbal Learning Disorder, and autism spectrum disorder. The program focuses on developing self-awareness, social skills, and stress management. The Program Manager (PM) oversees administrative, clinical, and programmatic aspects, managing daily operations under the direction of the Aspire Manager of Group Programming. Responsibilities include supporting up to 14 staff, implementing curriculum, maintaining communication with families, record keeping, developing schedules, and ensuring program policies are followed. The PM works onsite in Newton and in the community during outings.
Education
Master's Degree in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, or related mental health field. Enrolled in or graduated from a graduate program.
Work Experience
Experience working with neurodivergent children and/or adolescents is required or preferred. Current First Aid/CPR certification is required or preferred (training available through Aspire).
