Job summary

Nephron is seeking a BFS Line Technician I to operate, monitor, and maintain BFS downstream equipment for sterile pharmaceutical production. The role emphasizes CGMP compliance, safety protocols, and accurate documentation in a cleanroom environment.

The incumbent will set up machinery, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues to ensure continuous operation, with 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed. Prior BFS familiarity is highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certifications or training preferred.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or sterile manufacturing is a plus.
• Familiarity with BFS technology is highly desirable.
• Ability to interpret SOPs and Batch Records.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate BFS downstream machinery according to SOPs and Batch Records.
• Monitor machine performance and production output for efficiency and compliance.
• Perform routine adjustments and troubleshoot minor issues to maintain continuous operation.
• Reset equipment alarms and ensure materials are properly staged for production.
• Accurately complete Batch Records, logbooks, setup sheets, and other documentation.
• Identify and escalate product quality or equipment concerns to supervisors.
• Ensure all work is completed in strict adherence to CGMP standards.
