Job summary
Nephron Pharmaceuticals in South Carolina is seeking a BFS Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance for Blow-Fill-Seal equipment. The role ensures maximum equipment availability, regulatory compliance, and team development within a sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will oversee preventive and predictive maintenance, drive long-range overhaul planning, and coordinate with Production, QA and Engineering to support validations, changeovers, and production
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in BFS maintenance with 3+ in leadership
- Experience with cross-functional teams and validation/commissioning
- Experience with shuttle-type BFS systems
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage maintenance for BFS equipment, ensuring availability and compliance
- Develop long-range Overhaul planning and system improvements
- Oversee documentation, SOPs, and CAPA investigations for BFS systems
- Collaborate with Production, QA and Engineering on installs, validations, and audits
- Oversee electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and control systems maintenance
