Job summary

Wildhorse Resort Casino in Pendleton, OR is hiring for a beverage/food service role on the gaming floor. The position requires a Food Handler Certification and OLCC license within 30 days, a 21+ age minimum, and experience with POS and cash handling.

You will greet guests, take orders, deliver items, and ensure accurate processing of payments. Applicants should be capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace in a fast-paced casino

Qualifications

Six months of experience in the customer service/hospitality industry.
Possess or obtain a Food Handler Certification and an OLCC card within 30 days of employment, with permit application submitted by first day of employment.
POS and cash handling experience.
Basic mathematical skills.
Effective communication skills - provide instruction, respond to questions, and have exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
Stand and/or walk for long periods; perform repetitive motions with arms, elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers; bend, lift, and maneuver 50 lbs.; and have good visual and auditory acuity to respond.
Work a flexible schedule - weekends, holidays, and special events.
Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
Requires a High-Security Gaming License clearance.
Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

Greets customers and offers alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks or takes food service orders.
Retrieves drink orders and delivers them to customers.
Takes beverage and/or food orders, processes payment, and ensures order accuracy.
Maintains a neat, clean gaming area and replenishes condiments and supplies.
Maintains safe, clean work environment and adheres to OLCC regulations.
Supports guest service standards with courtesy and efficiency.
Promotes a safe, healthy work environment and reports concerns to a supervisor.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
