Job summary

Heritage Hotels & Resorts in Santa Fe, NM seeks a Beverage Server to deliver elevated service in a luxury hospitality setting. You will greet guests, take beverage orders, prepare and serve drinks, and coordinate with bartenders to ensure seamless service.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in hospitality, knowledge of POS systems, and NM Food Handler and Alcohol Server Certifications.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or food and beverage experience preferred.
• Luxury or upscale service experience preferred.
• Experience with POS systems preferred.
• New Mexico Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification required.
• Strong communication, multitasking and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25+ pounds.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain a high level of positive and professional interaction with guests, team members and leadership.
• Provide attentive and timely beverage service in accordance with luxury hospitality standards.
• Greet guests promptly, take beverage orders and offer knowledgeable recommendations.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure accuracy of orders and proper delivery to guests in bar, lounge or dining areas.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age and follow responsible alcohol service practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, bar areas and guest facing spaces.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down bar and service areas before and after shifts.
• Collaborate with bartenders and kitchen team to ensure seamless service flow.
• Process orders and payments accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain knowledge of current beverage menus, specials and promotions.
• Follow all safety, sanitation and alcohol compliance standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and professional appearance in compliance with uniform and grooming standards.
• Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of proprietary, client and guest information.
• Other duties as assigned are consistent with the functions of this position as needed at the property.
