Job summary

Riverside Refreshments, Inc. is seeking a Route Delivery Helper - Driver - In-Training in Augusta, GA.

The role supports the driver on an established beverage delivery route, with 10–15 stops daily, including loading, unloading, and merchandising at gas stations, convenience and grocery stores. As the driver-in-training, you will project a professional image and build strong customer relationships while learning route operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, and MVR.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• Must be able to use computers/iPads and GPS technology.
• Able to operate a delivery truck and maneuver in tight spaces.
• Work independently, 98% unsupervised.
• Must be a team player and dependable.
• Excellent attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and merchandise products; load/unload efficiently to multiple stores (approx. 10–15 stops/day).
• Rotate products per FIFO to ensure freshness.
• Push/pull pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
• Build and maintain client relationships at accounts.
• Inform customers of new products and resolve service issues.
• Be responsible for receipts, invoices, and delivery tickets; cash handling.
• Ensure company vehicle is maintained.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
