Job summary

Riverside Refreshments is seeking a Beverage Route Delivery Helper in-training to assist the driver on an established route. The position operates Monday through Friday on a typical route serving gas stations, convenience stores, and retailers, with 10–15 stops per day.

The candidate will learn delivery operations, merchandise products, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring timely, accurate deliveries and driver readiness for independent operation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations including driver logs and roadside inspections.
• Preferred 1–2 years’ experience in route delivery driving or at least 1 year in delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and merchandise products, including loading and unloading to multiple stores per day.
• Perform product rotation to ensure freshness at location based on FIFO.
• Push/pull pallet jacks and hand trucks to move products.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction by establishing relationships with primary contacts at accounts.
• Inform regular clients of new products or services and resolve service complaints.
• Accountable for receipts, invoices, delivery tickets, and cash or product handling.
• Ensure company vehicle is maintained.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
