Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottlers (CONA Services) in Alabama is seeking a Technician - Quality Assurance to test finished products and packaging attributes to ensure compliance with specifications. The role involves performing beverage attribute tests (Brix, CO2, pH), package attribute tests, label and date code verification, and data entry into the LDMS system.

The position requires attention to detail, ability to work weekends or Holidays, and a high school diploma (or GED).

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old
• Reading, writing and speaking English required
• High school diploma or GED or 6+ months related experience

Responsibilities

• Test beverage attributes: Brix, Assay, CO2, Net Contents, pH, Taste & Odor.
• Test package attributes: Closure torque, lid application, visual appearance.
• Verify finished product: bottle/can, correct closure/lid, correct label, production date code and packaging.
• Perform Micro sampling and testing as assigned.
• Perform syrup testing using UPLC/HPLC as needed.
• Calibrate and verify lab equipment; troubleshoot as required.
• Perform water treatment duties and CIP setup as described.
• Participate in Sensory Program where applicable.
• Enter data into LDMS and assist SOP writing as needed.
• Maintain GMP and lab housekeeping; manage supplies and inventory.
• Receive and test ingredients as applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
