Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking a quality technician to perform qualitative and quantitative testing of beverages, syrups, and raw materials in a fast-paced production setting in McAllen, TX. Shifts are Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM–10:00 PM, with starting pay ranges from $22.46 to $28.14 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities include testing, analysis of beverage attributes, auditing equipment, and ensuring product quality and proper housekeeping to prevent contamination.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in physical science and/or food industry experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of general work experience required.
• Prior food production operation experience preferred.
• Experience in high-speed industrial environments preferred.
• Ability to read MSDS and operate manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative testing of beverages, syrups, and raw materials throughout the entire production process.
• Analyze syrup beverage and/or water attributes.
• Audit container rinsers, air blowers, filters, and coders to ensure proper operations.
• Conduct package quality inspection and quality audits and isolate product that does not meet standards.
• Receive and test CO2 and all raw materials prior to production process.
• Maintain highest possible housekeeping standards to prevent microbial contamination.
