Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company in Columbus, NC is seeking a Production Technician to support the beverage manufacturing process on the production floor.

You will operate and maintain packaging lines, ensure quality, safety compliance, and move materials while recording data; this is a multi-shift role with exposure to noise and heat.

A high school diploma and at least 2 years of light industrial experience are required, with prior machine operating and pallet jack skills strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of light industrial work experience.
• Prior machine operation and production experience required.
• Ability to operate a manual or powered pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain filler/packaging and related equipment.
• Load packages and containers onto machines.
• Supply line with raw materials as needed.
• Check fill levels, seals and look for damaged product.
• Move finished containers to storage.
• Record production data and counts.
• Clean, sanitize, and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Forklift operations and inspections.
• Comply with QMS/EMS/SMS/FSMS requirements.
