Job summary

ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages is seeking a Production Planner to develop and maintain production schedules for assigned manufacturing operations, balancing customer demand, inventory objectives, material availability, production capacity, and operational constraints to ensure product availability.

The role works closely with Manufacturing, Materials, Warehouse, Procurement, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams to translate demand requirements into executable production plans, proactively identifying

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Operations Management, or related discipline preferred.
• Three or more years of production planning, supply planning, manufacturing, inventory management, logistics, or related experience preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment preferred.
• Beverage, food, consumer products, or other fast-moving consumer goods manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Experience using ERP, MRP, or advanced planning systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop short- and medium-term production schedules based on demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory targets.
• Sequence production to support customer requirements considering line capabilities and plan downtimes.
• Adjust production schedules as demand or material availability changes.
• Communicate schedule changes and priorities to manufacturing and other affected functions.
• Evaluate capacity against requirements and identify potential constraints.
• Collaborate with Operations to devise solutions when capacity is exceeded or disruptions occur.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and warehousing to resolve shortages.
• Track schedule attainment and performance measures.
• Support S&OP processes with information on capacity, constraints, and requirements.
• Maintain accurate planning master data within ERP and planning systems.
