Job summary

Bright Eyed is seeking a Beverage Production Associate to support daily production in our commissary kitchen. You will prepare ingredients, sub-recipes, and finished products according to recipes and schedules, while maintaining organized workstations and meeting quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of professional cooking or kitchen production experience, familiarity with high-volume environments, and a Food Handler’s Certificate or ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients, sub-recipes, and finished products per recipes and schedules.
• Set up and maintain organized workstations for efficient daily production.
• Ensure kitchen equipment, tools, and ingredients are ready for use.
• Label, date, rotate, store, and organize all food products.
• Track inventory and record products produced, used, and depleted.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements.
• Communicate production needs or issues to kitchen leadership.
• Support additional commissary needs as required.

This hands-on role is responsible for preparing ingredients, executing recipes and sub-recipes, completing daily production needs, and ensuring all products meet our standards for quality, consistency, and food safety.The ideal candidate has professional kitchen experience, works efficiently in a fast-paced production environment, and is organized, dependable, and detail-oriented. This person should be comfortable following established recipes and production standards while taking direction from the Executive Chef and Production ManagerWe operate as a collaborative, hands-on team, so flexibility and a willingness to jump in where needed are essential.Essential Job Responsibilities• Prepare ingredients, sub-recipes, and finished products according to established recipes, production schedules, and quality standards.• Set up and maintain organized workstations to support efficient daily production.• Ensure kitchen equipment, tools, and ingredients are properly prepared and ready for use.• Maintain a strong understanding of recipes, ingredients, preparation methods, and finished product standards.• Complete daily production accurately and within required timelines.• Track daily inventory and record products produced, used, and depleted.• Support the Chef with inventory and ordering to ensure ingredients and supplies are available for production.• Properly label, date, rotate, store, and organize all food products.• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen and workstation throughout each shift.• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements.• Communicate production needs, shortages, quality concerns, or operational issues to kitchen leadership.• Support additional kitchen and commissary needs as required.• 2–3 years of professional cooking, prep, or kitchen production experience.• Experience in a commissary, high-volume production kitchen, catering operation, hotel, or similar environment preferred.• Beverage or juice production experience is a plus.• Food Handler’s Certificate required or ability to obtain one as required.• Working knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices.• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple production priorities.• Ability to follow recipes and production specifications accurately and consistently.• Detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.• Ability to perform repetitive food preparation and production tasks throughout the shift.
