Job summary

Liquid Beverage Manufacturing in the Baltimore area is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of technicians, balance urgent repairs with planned maintenance, and drive equipment reliability across production lines.

You will supervise maintenance priorities, coordinate breakdown response, and partner with production and quality teams to support safe, efficient operations while controlling costs and parts inventory. The role requires rotating shifts and weekend/holiday availability.

Qualifications

Five to seven years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
Two-plus years of college or technical school education beyond high school.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Working knowledge of PLCs, control networks, hydraulics, and automated equipment.
Ability to organize workloads and communicate priorities across departments.

Responsibilities

Direct maintenance technicians, set daily priorities, and ensure safe, effective work.
Coordinate breakdown response while keeping preventive maintenance on schedule.
Review production needs and technician hours to organize maintenance coverage.
Troubleshoot recurring equipment issues and lead corrective actions to reduce downtime.
Coach technicians in troubleshooting, safe work practices, and equipment care.
Use work orders and data to track progress and identify improvements.
Partner with production and quality to support food safety and dependable operations.
Coordinate external service providers and smaller improvement projects.
Monitor project expenses and spare parts inventory practices.
Build a culture of accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.
