Job summary

Gehl Foods is hiring a Beverage Packaging Operator for the 3rd shift (AWS 2-2-3, 6 PM – 6 AM). The role involves operating and maintaining secondary packaging equipment, performing changeovers, and ensuring GMP compliance.

Qualified candidates have at least 6 months of manufacturing/packaging experience, strong organizational and math skills, and proficiency in English. We offer a full benefits package, on-demand pay, quarterly bonuses, PTO, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 6 months' manufacturing, packaging, or assembly line experience required.
• Strong organizational and observational skills.
• Basic math calculation abilities necessary.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand spoken English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate secondary packaging equipment to ensure food safety and product quality.
• Perform setup, changeovers, and line clearance for next item packaging and coding.
• Lube, clean, inspect, and troubleshoot line equipment.
• Record GMP checks and maintain accurate production log and MES data.
• Monitor inventory and production levels to optimize throughput.
• Support safety and quality standards and report issues promptly.
