Job summary

Jasper Products, LLC in Missouri seeks a detail-oriented Packaging Engineer to drive development, optimization, and execution of packaging projects ensuring product integrity and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate across operations, supply chain, R&D, quality, and customer service to meet protection, cost, sustainability, and branding goals while improving efficiency and customer experience.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Packaging Engineering, Engineering or Industrial Technology or related field or equivalent experience.
2+ years of packaging design and development or related experience.
Proficiency with CAD software and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

Drive all packaging engineering projects and finished goods setup to completion.
Design, develop, and validate new packaging systems for products across the portfolio.
Maintain knowledge of packaging equipment and materials to optimize efficiency.
Perform setup, inspection, and validation to meet standards for release.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, R&D, Operations, and Quality.
Oversee vendor relationships with procurement for sourcing and performance monitoring.
Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, ISTA, ASTM and internal quality systems.
Develop and monitor KPIs such as output, waste, downtime, and non-conformance.
