Job summary

Manhatta, a restaurant and event space by Union Square Hospitality Group, seeks a Beverage Apprentice to manage cellar logistics, inventory, and beverage storage. You will collaborate closely with Beverage leadership to ensure accurate receiving, storing, and mapping of wine, spirits, beer, and non-alcoholic products.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Extremely detail oriented and organized.
• Flexible, proactive and resourceful in a fast-paced wine program.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Genuine interest in Food, Wine, & Spirits.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all beverage deliveries by verifying invoices, vintages, bottle sizes and quantities.
• Maintain clean, organized storage areas and accurate inventory records.
• Bin, label, map, and organize wine, spirits, beer, and NA products with precise locations.
• Monitor beverage pars and coordinate replenishment with Beverage leadership.
• Assist with strategic purchasing, forecasting, and identifying shortages from sales trends.
