Job summary

G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers, Inc. is seeking Merchandisers in Columbus, OH to stock, rotate and display beverages at retailer locations according to planograms and company standards.

You will help drive sales by maintaining attractive product facings, accurate pricing, and clean backrooms while following safety rules. The position requires high school diploma or GED, 0–1 years in merchandising or retail, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift heavy product.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years merchandising or stocking experience.
• Valid Driver's license; insurable to operate a vehicle.
• Knowledge of retail sales environment; beverage industry; stocking, rotating and displaying products.
• Ability to read diagrams/maps/planograms and write; strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Stocks, rotates, and displays all products to established standards.
• Communicate with retailers and Pepsi management on pricing, products and programs.
• Assists and interacts with consumers at retailer locations according to standards.
• Maintains a clean, neat and organized backroom at retailer locations.
• Operates safety equipment and follows OSHA and company procedures.
• Performs other related duties as required and supports sales opportunities.
